This work is an accumulation of emails sent out by the author regarding the things he finds amusing on his postal route or small happenings in his life.
Overall, this was an acceptable read. Some terms used might not be as well-known to readers outside the UK. The overall tone of the work was amusing and the stories (more like sketches) provided a snapshot into the lives on a rural postal route.
The author's personality comes through clearly in his writing, as well as his opinions on certain events (such as Brexit). While some may find it charming, it ended up being a slight turn-off for the reader when the author would repeatedly mention his affinity for lovely ladies. Perhaps he felt it made him a bit cheeky, but it was a little wearing as it was repeated throughout the work.… (mehr)
