This was a textbook for a critical thinking course, "Shaping the Meaning of Language." I enjoyed using it as a text - there is a lot of information about ways of constructing logical arguments, as well as sections on fallacies and doing research. The examples they offer were written on interesting and relevant topics like Affirmative Action and other social and political issues.
