Poet and translator Sidney Wade is professor emerita of creative writing at the University of Florida. She is the author of seven collections of poetry: Bird Book, Straits Narrows, Stroke, Celestial Bodies, Empty Sleeves, Green, and From Istanbul/Istanbul'dan.

Stroke: Poems (Karen and Michael Braziller Books) von Sidney Wade
As a collection I did not connect to this book in the way I expected to. However, there were some poems in here that are absolutely beautiful and moving. These poems have really stuck with me, and will continue to.
