Contiene abundantes testimonios escritos por la misma Santa Teresa, y se adentra en su vida de oración y mortificación. Requiere un mínimo de formación para valorar la descripción que hace el autor sobre las discrepancias entre carmelitas “calzados” y “descalzos”.

2906 Saints in Action, by William Thomas Walsh (read 6 Sep 1996)This is the author's posthumously published hagiographical account of St. Peter, St. Ignatius of Antioch, St. Justin, St Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Patrick, St. Benedict, and St Gregory I the Great. The book is learned and very pro-saints, and while I have long read about and been interested in saints this book is so hagiographical that I really did not get too interested in it.
