As a 71-year-old nondenominational Christian woman who started my journey to become one after publishing my first two Christian books days before my 69th birthday. This inspired me to become a Christian blogger; my life has been fraught with emotions, including that of being fearful. As Christians and the rest of the secular population, I found that fear is one of the most debilitating things we all can suffer from. If we allow fear to overpower us, it can rob us of our joy and serenity. Fear can run the gamut from possibly losing a job to losing a loved one to the uncertainty of our future. Luckily, as Christians, we are reminded of the protection that stems from the Lord’s love for His children and the promises He has made to us, all of which get found in the reading of Scripture.

In trying to be a good Christian woman, I have found that regardless of the myriad of things that we might be confronted by, the Bible is ready to give us some sound advice or insight for the situation we might be in. Regarding us possessing fear, it could be regarding something that tomorrow will bring us. Luckily, however, MATTHEW 6:34 [NLT] advises us with the following:

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

The Lord knows that the screwball and tumultuous world we live in makes our fears surge in intensity. We require His intervention by comforting our emotions and contemplations. The Lord must open our hearts to possess His comfort, wisdom, and peace. We need the Lord to eliminate the plaguing sensations of fear and anxieties that we possess so that we are no longer living in them. Ironically, for those interested, the words “fear not” appear in the Bible 365 times, enough to give a comforting Scriptural verse to those suffering for each day of the year.

The essence of what I’ve written above is what I found in reading this book by author Suzette Webb. Ms. Webb wants her readers to turn to the Lord, listen to His words, and make the transition from being fearful of what’s around them to the Lord’s faithful presence, which removes any such fears from their lives and knowing that they’re not alone in this by any means.

In Amazing Grace, we sing, “I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.” Such is the transformation Ms. Webb wants her readers to achieve by sharing what the Lord had shown her during her life; she desires them to possess a life of abundance instead of scarcity. As a Christian woman and a rather voracious reviewer of nonfiction Christian books, I’ve given Ms. Webb 5 STARS for her endeavor here.

I read this book via an Amazon KU [KINDLE Unlimited] download.

I had mixed feelings about starting this book and I can't even say why BUT I am so glad that I did.

This is Suzette Webb's story but I think there will be a point or points that everyone can relate too. Her struggles with her image, her job, her past and her path to God is an amazing story and truly inspirational.

I recommend this book to everyone and I feel that readers will benefit from reading it.

I received this book free through Goodreads from the author for review purposes.… (mehr)
