This sequel to Blood Harvest, the first book in "The Hidden Amongst Us" series, finds Steve Jacobs once again on the trail of Dr. Phineas Whelan, who killed his best friend Chris. The "bad" doctor manipulates his victim's brain through torture and a mixture of drugs. Jacobs tracks him to a new lab set up in Thailand. He needs to rescue the villagers before the Navy wipes out the villages to contain the biological contamination that simply melt bodies away. Did I mention that Jacobs comes from a long line of vampires?
