...with one exception. There are moments of sweetness, of tenderness, and, uh... scorching romance. Welker definitely has a gift for sensory description when it comes to those shared moments between her main characters, and I found myself re-reading those passages, studying how she'd done it, because it's truly beautiful and vivid.

I'm so glad I spent time in this world, and I'm looking forward to reading more from this author -- whether set in this universe or another, I'm there!… (mehr)
