Awesome Book! A must-read. I could not keep it down. The book is very tight, witty, and full of social satire, excitement, and surprises. It is a sequel to the classic Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Descendant of Elizabeth Bennet and Darcy (main characters in the classic), who is super rich, handsome, and of royal lineage arrives in India. He meets Neeli Shastri, who is intelligent and proud of her roots and culture. He is sure of the superiority of the West. An intellectual war of wits between them is very engaging. The second half of the book is very unexpected. The content and quality of the writing is excellent. It leaves a romantic feel all over.… (mehr)
