This is a cute, short, and very hot story about two men who have just met and decide they want to get to know each other better.

Jay is a doctor, and when his so-called boyfriend, who refuses to come out and admit they are together, dumps him at the side of the road, he has had enough. He finally decides it is time to break up. The biker who comes to his rescue may look scary, but Jay - for once - takes a chance. Even though risky, it turns out to be one of his better decisions when they really hit it off.

Chance may look a little scary, but he is a great guy. He is flexible, totally into Jay, and ready to take care of him both in and out of bed.

If you like lust-at-first glance stories, if a doctor and a biker seem like a fun combination or characters to you, and if you prefer your stories burning-hot, then you may like this one.… (mehr)

Cute little story set on a different planet, one full of sand, with double suns, and a whole month of daylight and intense heat followed by a whole month of nighttime. I loved learning about this different world, including some language twists in word usage that I found very interesting. It added a nice degree of "otherness" to the characters' interactions.

Rik is an apprentice at his grandparents' hostel. From what I gathered, this is an Oasis along one of the trade or travel routes, place where people can stay overnight or longer. It closes for the "daymonth", presumably due to the excessive heat, and Rik has a few projects to finish. he is surprised by Marc's appearance, but happy for the company.

Marc may be a Seeker (something like a cop or detective, I assume) and look forbidding, but he is a really nice guy. Even better, he seems very interested in Rik, who cannot believe his luck. The weird sounds they start hearing derail them a little, but they also give the something to do - figuring out who or what causes them is a mystery.

If you like stories set in different worlds, if you enjoy reading about two men getting to know each other, and if you're looking for a short, interesting read with a futuristic feel, then you will probably like this short story.
