This was a cute second chance/enemies to lover’s romance read. Nate and Eve were high school sweethearts that thought they had it all until a tragic event sent Nate away without any answers or reason, so Eve went on with her life trying to forget all about Nate. One day Nate returns to Haven to help his injured father at the ballet school and surprise he runs into the one person he didn’t want to see, Eve. These two still had their instant chemistry for each other but they both fought so hard because they had things in their life they had to deal with. I loved their story and their push and pull. It was a cute and quick read that dealt with a lot of things from finding love again, trying to let go of guilt, and learning to overcome obstacles.… (mehr)

A quick and cute read about how a misunderstanding can change the track of someone’s life. Ray and Avery had a relationship when Ray first entered the army and they were in love with each other, but a serious miscommunication happens and it up ends Avery’s life. She works hard and ends up having a baby by Ray, but it isn’t until years later that that their son, Christopher gets in touch with Ray and things start from there. Ray and Avery still have the attraction they once had but now they must navigate it while keeping in mind that if things go south Christopher will be hurt too. They have some issues and insecurities to work through and at one point I was highly upset with Avery because even if she was in shock she took her feelings and emotional state at the time out on Ray and I personally didn’t feel he deserved it. I did love Christopher, he was such a sweet and loving kid that brought the whole story together.… (mehr)

This was a cute story about Matt and Summer who were incredibly attracted to each other from a young age but because she was like family and Matt’s little sister’s best friend, he walked away. He was afraid of hurting her and his sister so he thought he was doing the right thing until 12 years later at his sister’s wedding week he runs into Summer again and she is not to happy seeing him yet those feelings and attraction still linger. This was a book full of steam, action, guilt, choosing love and happiness over years of family. Although at one point Matt’s sister did overreact and made some hasty decisions that made me mad that she would be selfish instead of understanding. I really enjoyed this story and was happy with the way it all worked out.… (mehr)
