My personal library consists mostly of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Peter Straub, Jonathan Kellerman, and Anne Rice but a few others I enjoy are Michael Crichton, Jean Auel, Chuck Palahniuk, and shh! I even have a few books by LaVyrle Spencer! lol I was given a box of books by my neighbor and came across a few Spencer books. Normally not the type of book I'd read, but I gave 'em a shot and found myself enjoying them.

I am a big animal lover, I spend many hours volunteering at the local animal shelter, walking, bathing, cleaning and fostering. I of course have several pets of my own, what I call, "My Zoo" (2 dogs, 6 cats, and three fish tanks, a 10 gallon, a 35 gallon and a 55 gallon. Right now being that these are my first fish, I went with the hardy goldfish to learn from. I do have a Pleco (his name is Mr.Suckface) and the rest are goldfish.
I need to keep my hands busy, it's almost more of a compulsion. So I enjoy crocheting, plastic canvas, puzzles, working on a bead loom, sewing and so on.
Reading didn't come easy for me, I nearly flunked kindergarten because of my lack of reading skills. I had a wonderful tutor that summer, and since then I've loved to read. My favorite genre is horror, thriller type books, but I'm trying new books and found a love for historical fiction as well as many others.
