My library is mostly non-fiction, with lots of titles devoted to history of all kinds. Military history, baseball history, twentieth century history, the history of the Hundred Years War.

I'm a nearly 60 year old history and journalism teacher. I'm often addicted to my books, though in the interest of respecting my space limitations I've turned increasingly to e-books. I am a miniature wargamer, and I have a lot of books that support my hobby on a variety of military history topics. I've recently begun reading classic crime noir, such as Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett. Above all, I enjoy reading good writing. Reading is life and I make time for it every day.
