I am just beginning what I expect to be the long and slow process of cataloging and organizing my books. I am taking a room by room approach to this process, so there may be books from the middle of a series on here for a while without the rest of the series just because they're in different rooms.

Though it may not appear so at the moment, my library is fairly eclectic because I hate to part with books for any reason - even the ones I don't like much - so I've got lots of books I have because I wanted them and lots because I had to read them for school and lots that I inherited from my parents. I hope the process of cataloging will get me to weed out books I won't actually read and donate them to an appropriate organization.
