Über meine Bibliothek
My library is small but pretentiously formed. I have spent the last twenty or so years working in the book trade in the UK, and have gradually built up a collection of anything that took my interest at the time. The result (on reflection - as I do the LibraryThing thing) is a more than faintly ridiculous collection suited to a mind far more capable than mine. I mean, honestly, Cornford's commentaries on Plato... who am I trying to kid? It's been fun collecting though, and who knows, maybe with a very long retirement I might get round to reading them all. If only I could stop buying them quicker than I read them...
