Lately I seem to find myself reading more non-fiction than fiction.
My favorite fiction authors: Jeanette Walls (well, it's a memoir, not fiction, but one of the best things I've ever read), Barbara Kingsolver, Anne Tyler, P.D. James, Pete Dexter, Yair Lapid (Again, not fiction. He wrote an "autobiography" of his father after his father's death. Wonderful book), and I have to say Leon Uris, since (no matter how corny it sounds) reading Exodus at an impressionable age changed my life.

Über mich

I was born in Michigan, but have lived all my adult life in Israel, where I have worked as a secretary, librarian, administration systems analyst, high school and college English teacher, Hebrew-English translator, technical writer, marketing writer, proposal writer and editor. A number of my translations have been published and my first novel, The Lonely Tree, was recently published by Holland Park Press of London.
