Richard F. ( Dick ) Quis is an author, fine artist, a blue water sailor, body surfer and investment banker. An auditor by background he went from being a deal breaker to a deal maker. He’s the Managing Director of Sierra Trading Company, a mergers and acquisition advisory firm with broad access to global investors. He has worked in 14 countries and helps owners and investors buy and sell companies. He has deep exposure to America’s leading entrepreneurs and enjoys hearing the challenges and tribulations of what it takes to go from an ugly start-up to a successful enterprise. He tried dying, but was paddled back to life. During this surgery he was asked by his cardiologist to find the will to live while the surgeon worked his magic. This experience set him on a journey to learn what he needs to do to influence his subconscious, get connected to his Higher Power and become what he was meant to be. His close friend and co-author Gene Moynihan had the answers to this age old problem and they worked together to document Gene’s powerful survival methodology.
