The Dr. Joseph Ugbodaga Igietseme Memorial Library is located in Agenebode, Edo State, Nigeria. The library was made possible by a generous donation of books and resources from the personal library of the late Dr. Igietseme and his family. It represents the knowledge he accumulated over a lifetime of study and scholarship across his professional fields of immunology, biology, and the medical sciences; as well as his vast interests in religion, philosophy, and the esoteric; biographies, memoirs, and self-improvement; and contemporary fiction, plays, and English literature. This library was created to foster the love of learning, curiosity, and inquiry that Dr. Igietseme had in life amongst Weppa Wanno children for generations to come. May all who enter come to embody what DJUI described to his children as, “the spontaneous urge to right what is wrong.” May the resources contained within honor his legacy of dedicated service to humanity and Weppa Wanno Kingdom.
