John F. Reed is a Boston based book author, music journalist, and club DJ.

John is a long-time music journalist and had been a Correspondent at the Boston Globe newspaper for many years. His music and DVD reviews are and have been published in such national publications as: Hear/Say Magazine, MTV/SonicNet, DISCoveries Magazine, Music-News.com, Jambase, AMZ Magazine, Inside Edge, Music-Critic Magazine, Boston Rock, Planet Vinyl Magazine, and Music-Reviewer.

John has also been a Nightclub DJ for many years in Boston and is known as "Böston's Bad Böy DJ"©. He has performed at some of the hottest nightclubs on Lansdowne Street, the Financial District, Commonwealth Ave., and Faneuil Hall including: Jose McIntyers, Coogans Bluff, The Point, Great Scott, Zaza, Our House East, Scullers, Cosmopolitan, The Purple Shamrock, The Black Rose, Lily's, Waves at The Long Wharf Marriott, Au Tain, The 9, Dance Factory, The Tap, and International Pub as well as many special private party and corporate functions.
