My own collection reflects my interests e.g. gardening and travel, an ever growing collection of fiction and non-fiction titles shared with my Book Group plus children and young adult titles. I have a few books from my childhood. I can remember very clearly the day the public library opened a branch in my neighbourhood and I could ride my bike there on the way home from school and borrow many many books!

I am a School Library Adviser in Auckland, New Zealand. I work for the National Library of New Zealand, Te Puna O Aotearoa in the School Services Department. Previously to working here I was a Primary School Teacher working with students five years of age to twelve years of age.
