Having been a teacher for the past 13 years, I found myself tied down to Standards that left a lot to be desired. As a science teacher, my favorite time was during science fair when students were let loose to explore their own scientific interest. The library was their place to go for knowledge along their own path. I realized that this is where I wanted to be! I wanted to teach students these life long learning skills that they could carry throughout all of their future endeavors. Content is great but can only get you so far! Learn to ask questions and seek answers on your own!
