I've been collecting and enjoying OUP's VSIs on and off for several years. I have always appreciated their stimulating diversity, generally high quality, and appealing Rothko-inspired abstract cover art. As my collection has increased, I've also taken a perverse pleasure in the conceptual redundancy of the series in the age of Wikipedia.
However, one thing I have become a little frustrated by are the irregular trim sizes. A number of titles that I have purchased deviate from the series' 173mm x 109mm trim size, so I thought it may be useful to start a thread that:
a) identified which titles have been published in am irregular trim size, and
b) determined whether later impressions corrected the mistake, i.e. to ascertain whether correctly trimmed versions have been published at some point.
I will share some findings presently, but feel free to dive in in the interim.
I also hope we can discuss the books themselves, of course ;)
