I've got quite a few books that don't show anyone else as owning them, and many of these are under tags "Israel" or "Islam-Arabic Studies," in case anyone is looking for books on those topics. A couple that I found especially helpful considering the stuff going on in Israel these days, are

1. Disclosed Inside the Palestinian Authority and the PLO by Arlene Kushner, an author who lives in Israel and has a blog with not just posts, but Articles, by which you can check out her analytical writing on the Arab-Israeli conflict to see if you might want this book. It's great! It explains

- the differences between the PLO and Palestinian Authority (PA);
-their histories, ideologies,
-written statements/defining documents (PLO Charter, Roadmap, Palestinian National Authority Basic Law, etc) and documented verbal statements/quotes
- subgroups (Fatah, Force 17, Tnzim, Hamas, Palestine Islamic Jihad, etc),
- individual players (Arafat, Erekat, Abbas, Dahlan, Barghouti, etc),
and so much more, and all clearly and in an organized manner.

2. (Sorry, touchstone for title not working, but if interested can find this second book by author's touchstone or my library), it's Israel and Palestine: Assault on the Law of Nations by Julius Stone--it's about the international laws that pertain to the Arab-Israeli Conflict, such as law regarding self-determination, aggression, territorial rights, United Nations Resolutions, etc.

Fair disclosure: both of these books would probably be considered by most as "pro-Israel" or at least pro-Israeli land rights.

edit: I forgot, Kushner's blog is http://www.arlenefromisrael.info
