The Secret Bookshop is a charity bookshop raising funds for the restoration and conservation of The Waterloo Room at The Elms, 2 Lower Road, Old Bedhampton, Havant, Hampshire. PO9 3LH. The room was built by Sir Theophilus Lee for the visit of his cousin, the first Duke of Wellington. Heritage Open Day allows this rare opportunity to see inside this unusual room.
The bookshop offers general second hand, out of print and hard to find books with some collectable and antiquarian stock.
The Bedhampton Historical Collection will also have a display of local material and will be happy to answer questions on the history of the village.
