Why did you initially think Andrea would change her phone number and deactivate her Facebook page around the same time?

I think she got involved with someone new who got her involved with drugs. They may be controlling her and forced her to shut down her Facebook page so she wouldn't be in contact with other people.

To keep the squeaky-clean facade for the boyfriend/fiancé, while keeping her alternative lifestyle secret.

I think she was trying to keep her two lives separated.

>3 Sergeirocks: That's what I thought initially. But as this section progressed I began to wonder if it's related to the falling out with her her friend--Barbora (who "just vanished").

I have to agree with Sergei. She didn't want Giles or her family to know that she had a Facebook page or to know what she had on it. Two separate lives. Her sister knew about it though and probably her brother. I'm not sure that David can be trusted. There is just something off about him to me,
