Were you surprised how easily Andrea's parents accepted Erika's apology?

I think Diana accepted it but Simon still doesn't seem to like her.

He's a politician and she's a politician's wife, they know how to play the game - all very insincere, and will turn against Erika again if it suits them.

Leopards don't change their spots that quickly. I agree with >3 Sergeirocks:....play the game.

I don't think they really did - you could see it at the press conference when Simon ignored her. they're just putting on a good show

I think Diana was more sincere in accepting the apology, but I agree they did it mostly because she wasn't taken off the case and they want her focused on finding the killer. I agree that Simon will go after as soon as he thinks she's making a misstep. (and one seems to be coming based on the last chapter of this section).

Surprised they didn't kick back more when she apologised. However as you all say still big grudges there!

I don't think they are the forgiving types. Erika did owe them an apology for her unprofessional actions...they also owed Erika an apology for their insinuations and remarks. That wasn't even offered on their part.
