I thought that is was interesting when we learned about Giles Osbourne's company they mentioned something about someone got a Michelin star rating of 1. In the last Peter May book that I read it explained that the Michelin Tire family also has something to do with giving restaurants ratings of 1, 2, or 3 stars. (with 3 stars being the best rating.) Has anyone else ever heard about the Michelin ratings of restaurants?

Appears to be but what strikes me as funny is that Michelin is a tire company.

I thought that it was strange as well as interesting that plush restaurants were located next door to places like the Glue Pot. Usually there is at least a street or so separating them.

Some streets in U.K. can be quite cosmopolitan in this way Carol. A real mix!
