Yes because she should not have taken over the press conference. She should have privately told Marsh that she does not agree with the way he is handling the parents in regards to doing what is right in finding Andrea's killer. Don't think she would have gotten anywhere with him though. It is probably best for her to go back to Manchester but she is too invested in finding the killer of the 5 victims at this point.

I don't see how they could have handled this any differently, she deliberately disobeyed orders - publicly!

I agree with all of you and my cop agrees that there was no other choice based on her disregard of her superiors orders. She should have done what she was told to do, even if she disagreed... and talked to Marsh after the press conference. Leaving the station was a total act of disrespect for Marsh's authority.

Yes Disobeying orders was one thing but then to compound it by just running away left them little choice.
