Do you think Erika will convince Marsh about her theory and get them to search for the phone?

I think she will be able to put Marsh in a position where someone might ask in the future why he didn't want to help Erika with this piece of evidence that she had brought forth to him. He does not seem to be expending too much effort because I think he is not fully invested in Erika's ideas anymore.

Of course she will.
We've all worked out that the second phone is highly significant - how else will it be found if the police aren't looking for it...?

Of course she will. Otherwise this would be Book #1 in the DCI Sparks series:)

>7 Carol420: Don't want to read that series!

You assumed she would, she is the most active detective I've ever seen for someone who is suspended.
