One of my pet peeves is politicians manipulating the law or law enforcement. Everyone should be treated equally and everyone needs to follow the law.

I don't approve of the way people in power exercise that power when it comes to political manipulation. It happens in every country and I can't see it changing.

Have to totally agree with >2 EadieB: and >3 Olivermagnus:. It shouldn't be it happens in every law enforcement department in the country and it probably is worse in other countries.

It should be one set of laws for everybody, regardless of position or status.

all of the crimes, victims and suspects should be treated equally. Unless of course, there is something specific that needs to be dealt with differently (ie - suspect with a history of prior police interaction may lead them to restrain differently etc)
Politics and Celebrity are too often a factor in how people are handled either as a suspect or a victim.
