Were you surprised in the deterioration of Painter? Did you think there was any hope for him?

I wasn’t surprised since Anna told us what would happen. However, I always expected that they would find a way to reverse the damage (not just delay the effects)

What's taking them so long??? We can't lose Painter. I'm trying to remember if he is in the rest of the books.

He was certainly failing fast. This one was going up to the wire...
But I always thought he'd make it out the other end.

Anna told us the when the end would come but Rollins is making us nervous over this one but I think in the end he will survive.

I felt like he was going to survive but they were certainly cutting it close.
