Do you think Will is finished as an assassin?

This is book #4 so if David Baldacci is true to form there will still be 1 more book. I think he'll come to grips with it.

I think he may be finished and this is why we are getting his backstory in this book.

No. I think this is just another blip. Robie has issues with his father that he needs to resolve - his close links with Julie and Jessica have changed his lone wolf ways. Once he tends to his former life he will get back on track in his current life.
It has to be remembered that, throughout the series, Will has been atypical at this job. If he wasn't finished after all the things he's been through, then this won't finish him, either. I think he'll go with his boots on...

He’ll get himself squared away and be back to work after settling things with his father

I know there is at least one more published book, but it may be sending us towards the final book. Baldacci doesn't usually write long term characters and how long is the lifespan of a professional assassin.

>6 Olivermagnus: Depends on how many other Professional assassins are after you:)

No I fon’t think this is the end of the road. Didn’t think we’d go out with a back story. I’m guesstimating there will be one or two more books yet.
