Does it seem strange that Joesbury would appear on the boat after killing someone and wouldn’t say anything to Lacey?

I don't thing Joesbury left the heart. I think it must be from the killer.

I also don't think it was Joesbury and that it was the Killer. The killer has been watching Lacey through the window on the boat, plus he's probably been on and in the boat so he would have seen the message Mark left (assuming Lacey didn't sweep it up in the morning)

I think Joesbury left the first heart but the killer copied the second one.

If he’s guilty, he wouldn’t be able to get Lacey involved, it would put her in an untenable situation.
