Joesbury said he didn’t kill anyone. Any thoughts on this?

Someone must have lied or needed a reason to arrest Joesbury.

I think he was referring to a setup that would make the group he's after trust him more. If it looked liked he killed a member of the police he wouldn't be suspected as a police officer himself.

Could quite easily be true as I can't see him ever killing an innocent bobby, no matter what the circumstances. As for Dana not knowing the truth - perhaps Joesbury's bosses want to keep this all under wraps: no guarantees there aren't any moles in the wider police community.

I never thought he had killed anyone and it was a set up to help his undercover persona.
