What are your thoughts about the fertility process Dana and Helen are going through?

Seems pretty normal. Hope it works out for them.

My sister did in vitro three times. The one thing I know about it is how much these women want a baby.

I found it kind of interesting especially for a gay couple.

I have two really good friends that are gay. They had a baby in 2003 by having Tyler' sister have the baby with Connor as the sperm donor. Their fertility clinic okayed it and thought that it was perfect for them as the baby would have both their genetic make ups. Joseph will graduate from High School next year and plans to attend the University of Michigan and later hopes to be accepted at Harvard Law. Ambitious...but that's the way he's always been. He knows who his biological mother is and he calls her Aunt Lisa and Connor and Tyler both Dad. It worked out great for them.

A very complex procedure, it will inevitably get in the way of Dana's job - maybe she'd be better taking time off to devote to the venture.
