Were you surprised when Nadia contacted Lacey by phone? What were your thoughts on this?

Nadia seems to be willing to help now. I guess Lacey putting herself out to try and find her has made Nadia realize that someone does want to help the woman being taken. Lacey should encourage that at all cost.

I was surprised that Nadia called her. I don't know whether Nadia is being manipulated by her escorts to help her, or whether she is sincere.

I was surprised but her “protectors” had told her to do so - probably expecting to stop the inquiries into Nadie’s whereabouts if she contacted the person looking for her. Obviously, Lacey’s asking around got back to them and spooked them enough for them to take this step

Yes, the call came as a surprise. I thought, if anything, there might be an anonymous pointer as to where Nadia was staying.
