HEllo,
I am wondering if you can define a certain icon for me.
I'm not certain of specific location- perhaps several locations; There is a green checkmark icon which is self-explanatory. However, today, I noticed that instead of a green checkmark there were instances of blue icons of a reader (circle for head ) holding and open book.
What does this mean- and how come not a green checkmark?
thx

The only blue icon I've seen is this
while looking around to find which works have the blue checkmark, the pattern I found was that they're all in my "Read but unowned" shelf
It's not holding an open book as you describe though so it's probably not what you saw. Can you take a screenshot?

If you mouse over the icons, you will get an explanatory tip. There's a long thread on the topic here: https://www.librarything.com/topic/341559.

As I expected- I do not know how to attach a screen shot-
blue ampersand might indicate I have more than one copy

In addition to being unable to attach screenshot- having a bug difficulty in getting back to aforementioned screen. will refer to bug collectors- but I don't feel well at moment- so postponing. Also, I tried rolling cursor over- and had no effect- so perhaps another bug for another time
thx
thx

>1 EGBERTINA: To summarize what's written in the posts in >3 lesmel:, the previous colored checkmarks (green/blue/pink/grey) are being changed to different symbols, but that change has not been rolled out to every part of the site yet. Some pages still have all checkmarks.
A green checkmark means the book is in the "your library" collection
A blue head behind an open book means the book is in the "read but unowned" collection
A pink/purple heart means the book is in the "wishlist" collection
A grey pyramid means the book is in your catalog but not in one of those 3 collections
