For older books Amazon data can be really bad. Overcat is a great source because it is made up of library source searches. (Amazon's own data has gotten a lot better, but most of their 'partners' can't catalogue.)

If you care about having accurate covers either use member covers or upload your own. Amazon covers are not on LT servers, and if Amazon changes the cover they use for an ISBN, your cover will also change or disappear.

Yes , thanks for the advice.. was experimenting last night and did what you suggested i.e take my own pics....I'm getting there, loaded over a hundred last night...

>6 ricko800: Except for books held by only a few members, there's usually covers already uploaded by members. Those are stable and choosing one of those is often quicker. There's also a module 'recent member uploaded covers', I believe by default under Home > About you, where you can choose member-uploaded ones really fast if you turn on the option 'your ISBN only'.
