Descriptions in publiser series

The 'Description' field in 'Publisher Series' (and perhaps also 'Series') used to be larger than it is now. If you edit one of these larger legacy descriptions, you can't save the changes until you bring the letter count down to the new limit. So you split the description into appropriate chunks.

Question. Is there a way to force the order multiple descriptions are displayed? Short of creating and deleting new copies until you get the order you want.

I'm working on Quick Reads (https://www.librarything.com/nseries/4641/Quick-Reads). (For some reason the triple square brackets don't want to co-operate today). I want the descriptions in the order:

Besides the volumes ...
