Hi all!

I hope it's OK to post this here - I do contribute to the group and this is not spam, it's to do with a study I am thinking of doing. I might post it to a few groups, which is why I am concerned people might think I'm spamming...

Anyway. I started a small reading group to discuss the novels of Iris Murdoch; we're reading them in chronological order of publication. I have read a few books about reading groups, and it struck me that there might be some mileage in looking at reading groups and Iris Murdoch, especially as a lot of the groups I know of seem to concentrate on newly published books.

So at the moment I'm casting around to see if I can find some reading groups that could answer some questions for me.

If you're a member of a reading group, or run one, whether private, public, library, bookshop, online or face-to-face....

1. have you read any Iris Murdoch books?

2. would you be interested in trying out one in the group and reporting how you found it?

There will of course be more questions than this once I've put the study together, but I just need to see if it's feasible first!

Many thanks for reading - please contact me by replying here or on my profile if you would like to discuss further / take part / have any questions.
