This was the first 'chapter book' my son and I have read, together. He's mostly read picture books with me, or on his own, or a few thick comic books, like Calvin & Hobbes or Garfield.

Since he is REALLY into Star Wars lately (he's 7), he picked up this book from his school library. I was kind of surprised to see that he'd chosen a chapter book, but we went at it with gusto and got through it in a little over a week. He was really interested in the plot-line and what happened to the various characters... he would imagine what might happen next in the story, and I enjoyed asking him questions about what he thought. ( )

Who is Omega? Sounds like a great villain to chase
I loved the lessons and Anakin's doubt that came out of this story.
