Despite the disgusting horrors revealed in this book, it stuck to the facts of who what and where and was not difficult or slow to read.

It is a shame that movies and books telling heroic tales of humanity and courage of efforts to save innocent people have not revealed the true causes before.

This book provides just that. ( )

This was interesting history and taught me how Germany, as a nation, embraced the racist and murderous leadership of Hitler. I didn't realize that it was an international movement before WWII to "breed" selectively for the strongest and best "human material" and to weed out the feebleminded, mentally ill, sick and handicapped. It shocked me to read that they thought our Christian morality had weakened the human species by nurturing and helping the physically and mentally weak! But this book was a little long and at times boring, the charts were unnecessary to me so I always skipped them. But since I learned something I give it more of a thumb's up. ( )
