Talvi, or the god of winter, is slightly bitter about the ungrateful humans. When he catches sight of the one man who truly loves him, he realizes that he never wants to be without him. Blake is very special, and even though the entire story is told from Talvi's point of view, the love he has for Talvi is very clear. I loved how both of them are so devoted to each other.
K.R. Foster packs just enough world building into only 24 pages to make me want to read more about these "weather gods". I also hope there will be more about Talvi and Blake! This is a great read with lots of emotional depth. (
