L’A. est l’un des rares exégètes étrangers à donner des références en français et à citer dans cette langue : dans l’essai sur « Paul et le peuple d’Israël », on ne relève aucune faute dans une citation de dix lignes, aussi excusera-t-on un certain nombre d’erreurs qui ont échappé au correcteur des épreuves dans l’essai sur « La dimension territoriale du judaïsme » (cf. notes 23,43, 52), points de détail pour un ouvrage dont la lecture reste agréable et stimulante.
