Child Finder Revelation North Korean terrorists kidnap an Ambassador's daughters, and Patrick O'Donnell must rescue them. But just who are these girls, and why do the President and the Pope want them returned at any cost? Child Finder: Revelation is the highly-anticipated conclusion to the Child Finder Trilogy. The Library Journal called the series' first novel, Child Finder, "a compelling debut novel," and, "a real find," and placed it on its prestigious Summer Reads List for 2009. Both the debut novel and the trilogy's second story, Child Finder: Resurrection, earned national level book awards. In Child Finder: Revelation, United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations Special Agent Patrick O'Donnell faces his most challenging - and life-threatening - mission. North Korean terrorists stage a brazen attack on the U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, stealing his twin daughters in the assault. The eight-year-old girls are powerful psychics with amazing extrasensory gifts, and it is clear that the North Koreans abducted them because of these abilities. Only one man can rescue them. Patrick O'Donnell is the government's top agent with his own psychic abilities...skills crucial to finding the Ambassador's daughters deep inside North Korea. From the outset of the operation, O'Donnell senses there is much more about these girls that goes unspoken. Head nods. Winks. Secrets shared between his boss, the President of the United States, and the Vatican. These are all signs of a mystery to which he is not privy. One thing is made clear in abundance: he must rescue the girls and bring them back to America with an urgency he has never experienced before. Colonel Michael "Mike" Angley is the award-winning author of the Child Finder Trilogy. He retired from the United States Air Force in 2007 following an exciting and dangerous 25-year career as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI). He is a seasoned criminal investigator and a counterintelligence and counterterrorism operator. Mike held thirteen assignments in his career, among which were five command tours. In his last assignment, he was the Commander of OSI Region 8, Air Force Space Command. One of his major responsibilities was to execute counterintelligence operations impacting space. Author Interview Questions Q 01: When did you know you wanted to be a writer? A: I've always had that writer bug burning in my heart. Even as a young boy I would write short stories and poetry, but my attempt at becoming the next E. E. Cummings never got off the ground. I did enjoy writing short stories and poetry during high school for my literature classes. Q 02: Where do your ideas come from? A: Much of my inspiration comes from my OSI career. For reference, the OSI is the USAF equivalent to NCIS. I spent 25+ years chasing criminals, spies, and terrorists around the world, so I decided to create a thriller series about a young OSI Special Agent who discovers he has a psychic ability to find missing children. Since I enjoy the thriller genre, I needed to insert some intrigue, danger, derring-do in the stories to twist and pull my protagonist along the way. Reviews "This is a thriller that is written by someone who knows what he's writing about and it shows. A definite page turner unlike anything you've read before. I'm not going to give away anything, but the ending is mind-boggling and will definitely make you think." --Marilyn Meredith, author of the Deputy Tempe Crabtree mystery series as well as the Rocky Bluff P.D. series "This book grabs you from start to finish In Child Finder: Revelation, Mike Angley has given us another hard-to-put-down thriller A great read " --Bob Doerr, author of the Jim West Series… (mehr)
