This story is about war.
In 1757, armies from England and France are fighting in North America.
Because they wanted the land.
There are many different Indian tribes and "Mohicans"is one of it.

I think many Indian tribes spent hard time.
Because England and France governed in that time.
I hope that it becomes the equal world. ( )

this story's backgroud is war that French fight with English.
and Huron (Indian) is enemy of french,and Hurons try to kill french women and man.
But Mohicans and Hawk-eye help french.
In the end,one of the french women and one of the Mohicans are killed by Huron.
but Hawk-eye kille Huron's bos.
and this story end.

I think that there are too many characters.
so in the first i can't understand this story.
so i lank it 2 stars.

I like one of french women,old sister,Cora.
She stands up to Hurons.
She is very brave .So her satements are very cool! ( )

I think fight give us only tragedy. In this book, many people died for the fight. I feel very sad. Now, there are many wars in the world. I hope that wars disappear completely though it may be difficult to realize such hope. I learn how piece is important.

The Mohicans are the tribe in America. This story is relation of the tribe and army. Two daughters sre important characters. This is a survival story. This book contains a lot of pictures, so it is easy to know the situation. However, characters may be too many. ( )
