"King Arthur has dominated my life for decades and now I am banished from his side. I am not certain either of us can survive this torment..."Lancelot, the greatest Knight of Camelot is almost flogged to death, exiled, and stripped of the King's grace. I had a hard time with the book on a number of levels. For one, for the first half, it really seemed much more like a f/m romance instead of an m/m romance - which is fine, just not what I was expecting. And then that theme carries through the rest of the book and so many aspects of the characters and their relationships seem incredibly inconsistent. The development of the characters is all over the place and sometimes their actions don't really seem to ring true to the personality they've shown previously in the book. And then there are the typos - both in spelling and grammar - that don't necessarily get in the way of the story, but are enough to let the reader know a good edit was likely never done for this text.

I find myself curious where things might go in the next book, but I don't know that I'll be picking it up any time soon. ( )

I enjoyed this overall. I will be giving the next book in this series a read. However, this series seems to be rather long, and I’m not sure if it can hold me through that many books. I look forward to seeing how many I’ll get through.

Blog Post for complete review.

Although a little difficult to get in to, in the long run I loved this book! Great story telling and a wonderful new "take" on the old legends! ( )

The angsty love between Lancelot and his king... how can I not get into this? A dark, dirty, very sympathetic Lancelot (always my fave Arthurian) and King Arthur, when at last we meet him, in a bad way, a tarnished legend. The ups and downs of forbidden love. And there's a sequel. Great stuff.

As people say, there's heaps of sex, but I skip that.
As people say, there were errors in the ebook, but I have an odd tolerance for them. ( )
