Last in the Bethlehem series. I liked this one the best. Con man Cole skips town at the end of the last book, leving his 12yo son with Leanne. Now he's back in Bethlehem, doing 2 years of community service for his crime (he did take the money, although he returned it all). Facing the people he bilked is the hardest thing he's ever done, except for facing his son and Leanne again too. In another storyline, Alex and Melissa finally have the child they're longed for, only he's born sickly - and with Down syndrome. Alex is having a very hard time adjusting all his fatherhood dreams.
