This book is more of a guide than a textbook and to its credit it doesn't claim to be more than it is. All the basics of learning Spanish are given here in a quick 150 pages, but I can't imagine it being enough to help a beginning learner unless supplemented by other texts. As a university publication printed over half a century ago I'm sure it suited its purpose well. ( )
