But I was especially interested in finally reading Pete’s story and see how he evolved. It also opens up the series to other possibilities. All of the paired couples from the prior novels come together in a story with a very different feel to it. Telepathy had been used in prior books to create a strong feel of intimacy without the couple even touching. But this time the ability is cut off for awhile and the couple come together and figure things out the old fashioned way. Some humor and surprises and what appears to be a shift in the back story.
