I thought the first book was great but this one was even better! Delia's writing takes you further into the world of Valeria and Alex and their great love for each other. You will hang on to every word as you read their story. Now...how long do I have to wait for the next book??
Ms Colvin is on my Must-Read list. I can't wait to see where she goes from here! ( )

Who was your favorite character? Alex - he never gave up on his lost love.

Consider the main character: what does he or she believe in? He wants to be happy. Feels like he's been given a second chance. He risks everything to be with Valeria.

At the end of the book, do you feel hope for the characters? Yes, I have hope for them. They are free, as long as they stay out of Kristina's clutches.

What are some of the major themes of this book? To provide a love story about immortals. It would take any reader to far away lands.

I couldn't wait to start book 2 of the trilogy. You do think to yourself just how will the author continue the story from the first book......oh boy she does a great job!!

The book started with a bit of a shock, especially knowing about Alex's undying love for Cassandra, it did surprise me but then you learn it was in the past.

So the moment has finally come for the soul mates Alex and Cassandra to marry but before they do they have to meet in front of the council of immortals for permission. This means they have to prove that Cassandra is now immortal which thankfully they do but things do not go plan, evil selfish forces are against their marriage.

What will happen? Who can they trust? Not everything is as it seems......

I'm not going to give any more away, you will have to enjoy reading the twists and turns throughout the story yourself just like I did and it will keep you hooked. When you think that they have finally reached the light at the end of the desperate tunnel the author weaves her magic again and your left holding your breath for the next installment!! ( )
